How To Build a Clean 4 Product Makeup Bag

With summer travel season in full swing, packing and making decisions about what to bring can feel overwhelming. This post is short and sweet just like your makeup routine should be! We're here to lay out the minimum to get the maximum keeping your bags easy, breasy, and lightweight. My family and I are traveling to Thailand and Abu Dhabi next week and I'll be well prepared with the 4 makeup must haves below! And trust me when I say that these are the only 4 things that I pack!

1. Tinted Moisturizer with SPF

Pull triple duty with a skin evening tint, SPF, and moisture! We love bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer. With tinted mineral sunscreen baked into the tint, you are well protected and moisturized!

At 43, my skin which tends to be rosacea prone and red, looks a lot better with a sheer skin matched swipe of color.

Look for a product with a minimum of SPF30 to save your skin against sun damage and wrinkles!

2. Bitty Balm

   Multi-use makeup sticks are your BEST FRIEND! Swipe color across your eyelids, lips, and cheeks. You can even pack 2 (we know, we know, that would be 6 things) but you can really get a lot of versatility with 2 different options- think Bubbly- sparkly soft mauve and Bronze- golden glow for a sunkissed summer look. Or Bang Bang for a coral lip and cheek and Blush as a highlighter and soft eye.

   I don't line my eyes on the regular, but I DO like to fill in my brows where they thin at the ends. Look for a natural option that does both. We like Red Apple Lipstick's eye pencil beause it is hypoallergenic and can be used on lids and brows. A filled in brow definitely makes a face look younger and fresh!
